Hey! My name is Jodi!

I have had a deep passion for helping people in their health and fitness goals for many years!

It all began when I was 16yrs old working in a fitness facility while going to school. I was an athlete my whole life so naturally I went in the fitness direction but was extremely driven to ultimately go to medical school to be a plastic surgeon. During my under graduate degree in Biology and Chemistry, I worked as a personal trainer and instructor.  I was one step away from entering medical school and decided to stick with my passion for helping people with their health and fitness goals so I went into furthering my education in Exercise Science and obtained a masters degree.

In Exercise Science we focus on Kinesiology where I majored in Exercise Physiology and had an emphasis in collegiate athletics and strength and conditioning with additional nutrition courses along the way.

I worked as a D1 strength and conditioning coach (and coached some of the top athletes in the country) and a personal trainer and coaching fat loss clients on the side for many years.  And then I took some time off to have my babies!

I became a carb monster while pregnant and gained a lot of weight. My first pregnancy I had 70lbs to lose and my second one I lost 98lbs! That took me to a mental place I never experienced before. I was depressed, lost all my confidence, I wasn’t as good of a spouse or mother or friend, and knew I had to fix it asap! I was driven like no other to get myself back, and I did it! It took a long time! But taking myself to that place mentally drove me to a whole new place where I am now insistent on helping as many people as I can to not feel like what I felt like and by any means necessary give you your life back! Sure I had all the education, experience, and exact know how on how to get my body back but that didn’t change how I felt. I felt the same way you do and that’s what helped me grow into becoming a better coach. I’ve been there.

I’ve had to get this body back not once, not twice, but three times! First pregnancy wasn’t too bad. But the second one my baby was 10.7lbs and 22.5 inches. I got off all the 98lbs I gained (taking me to a total of 231lbs), but it left me with diastasis recti where my whole abdominal wall wouldn’t go back together and a lot of loose skin around my belly. Yes we can reduce body fat and add muscle and tighten some skin, but we can’t put boobies back or excess extra skin from weight gain or pregnancy. And that’s ok! I, however, decided to have plastic surgery and have a full mommy makeover where they repaired my abdominal wall, a tummy tuck to remove the excess skin, and put my boobs back.  That took about a year to recover from and get my body back again! And there’s no looking back this time!!

So now with my many years of education (and the huge science nerd that I am) in this field, many people I have transformed, and transforming myself three times, I would put my skill set up against anyone!

I never tell people what they want to hear just to sell you something. I give you the truth, and I educate you to have all the tools you need to be successful on your own forever and not dependent on me forever, but I am here to help as long as you need me!

I coach with Real Science to get people Real Results.
